Well what a great weekend to look forward to – the Masters – with so many story lines. I unfortunately have never had the pleasure or privilege of going to Augusta, but this week a few of our members that I know of will be there, namely Johan and Thys de Beer, as well as Schalk Theron and AB de Villiers. Best of luck to all PCC members teeing off for Club Championships this weekend
Just as the weather has been playing havoc with our golf at PCC so it disrupted the SA Open at Durban Country Club last weekend. What a pity the final round could not be played, preventing Christiaan Maas from attempting to become the first amateur since Denis Hutchinson in 1959 to win the SA Open or at least finish in the top three and secure a spot in this year’s British Open.
